Julie is a wonderful spark of light in anyone's day. She is always the first one to volunteer to help if you need it. She is the person who can always turn your frown upside down with her fabulous sense of humor and her positive outlook on life. She has an infectious laugh and her quick wit can be matched by few. She is a devout friend and her loyalty knows no bounds. Her countless hours of service to others would put most of us to shame.
Julie has cancer.
Julie is a single mom of three teenagers. Her oldest, Dan, is a sophomore in college. Her second oldest, Elizabeth, is graduating this spring from high school. Her youngest, John, is finishing his last year in junior high. Julie has been solely supporting herself and three kids by running a home daycare. In addition, she works part-time in a grocery store on the weekends to help make ends meet. Her financial life before cancer was a struggle but one that she was courageously fighting.
Now this cancer has taken away her only means of income. The doctors will not allow her to work during this time as her immune system is no longer working. She has just been diagnosed with shingles, a painful blistering rash, the results from her immune system shutting down.

Whatever you can donate to help my friend is greatly appreciated…even as little as $5 will help her keep her electricity or heat turned on and the creditors at bay.
With all my heart, I thank you, as does Julie and her kids.
Julie's dear friend,
Jamie
