(I do not have access to the cast list)
"Unshackled!" is the longest run radio drama in the history of radio running since 1877 and it records in Chicago at The Pacific Garden Mission. I have been fortunate enough to be included in many shows over the years. One show, particularly, was my favorite. It is called simply, Kathy, and she was played by yours truly. What made this even more spectacular for me was that in the history of "Unshackled!" this was the first time the person whose story being told would be present at the performance. First time in 3,242 shows! The real Kathy was there in the audience listening to her story being told by me! She came up afterwards with tears in her eyes and said "You got it right. You nailed me, Jamie." Needless to say I was humbled and thrilled.
